Walk in Your Authority
We are the redeemed of the Lord. We were a people under the curse and removed from the Holy God. Separated from Him by our very nature, which was the sin nature. What are we redeemed from? The punishment of not keeping the Law of Moses, which is the curse of the law.
It is written, cursed is everyone that hangs on a tree. Jesus hung on that cross for us. Became our sin. Became sick with our sicknesses. Took on our deserved curse. Suffered our deserved punishment. Shed His very own perfect Blood for us. It is written, without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin. The blood of a bull was good for one year. The perfect Blood of the Son of God lasts for eternity.
Jesus has already accomplished what He set out to do. He redeemed us, bought us back to a state of sinlessness in the eyes of God. Then He put to naught the powers of the enemy for us. He has disarmed principalities and powers and made a show of them openly. He was victorious in triumphing over them. And we are in Him. Seated with Him. He has already conquered the devil. Now it's out job to enforce that. He, who was victorious over the devil, gives us His Authority to enforce His finished work.
These things that Jesus accomplished for us are now legally ours. They belong to us. Simply put, if it comes to steal, kill or destroy- it’s not from God. If it brings life, and life more abundantly, it is from God. If it’s not from God, it’s trespassing. You have authority to command it to go. That’s spiritual warfare. You are forbidding the enemy to enter your property- spirit, soul, body, house, job, finances, family- anything pertaining to you. Your weapons are the Name of Jesus, the Blood of Jesus and the Word of God.
If it’s already accomplished through Jesus’ finished work- don’t beg for it in prayer. The Father has already given it to you. You do not beg for that which you already own. Take it. Receive it by faith. Walk in it.
Take your authority over the devil, bind him in the Name of Jesus, come against him with the Blood of Jesus- for he cannot cross the blood line. Speak the Word of God to him. Command him to go and give the Lord all the praise, honor and glory for the answer.
