The Religion of Self Effort
I will put you over the top, for I AM the God of breakthrough. No more methods, programs, works, self-efforts. Results that are not quite right. Do you see the pattern? My people have been trained and programmed for this struggle of works and flesh. It’s low walking. This is not of Me! For Babylon is the religion of self-effort and self-improvement. Babylon is the mixing of the things of man with the Word of God. Things of the flesh vs. things of the Spirit. It’s a mixed and corrupted Christianity.
I AM your Father. I will to lead into all truth. I desire to lead you into the blessings of My Covenant, where all is yours. Quit this struggling of self effort. Look to Me. Come out from among her! For you are in Me. Now live and move and have your being here, with Me. Seated with Me. In the heavenly places. Far above all principality, power, might and dominion. Where the air, the vision and paths are clear; free from obstructions. Walk in the Spirit. Partake freely of the Tree of Life. Come reign with Me.
O, Lord, show me how to live and move and have my being in You. He who says he abides in You ought to walk like He walked. Teach me, Lord, to walk like Jesus walked. Draw me to You, Lord. Jesus walked in the Spirit. He only did what He saw You do. He only said what You told Him to say; what He heard You say. This self-effort and my own reasoning needs to go. I know it. It puts me on a five foot hill when You have called me to walk on the high places with You. Make my feet like hind’s feet. I want to walk in the high places with You. Once more, I surrender this self-effort to You. I trust You.
However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.
It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.
Romans 5:17
