The natural man (Dave called them flesh creatures. I call them earth walkers) receives his information through his 5 senses. What does it look like? Taste like? Sound like? How does it feel and smell? This carnal information gets filtered and processed through a natural mind and is exhaled through the mouth in words. Words from thoughts received through natural senses. This is not God language and it does not produce God material. It is carnal, earthy, and worldly; of the natural man. The natural man speaks what his senses reveal to him and that’s what he gets. More of the same.
And the product of those assimilated words are of the language of the natural man, which can include fear, doubt, unbelief, sin, sickness, poverty… You may hear them as: “I am so sick, the doctor said it was very bad, it doesn’t look good, I can’t afford it, we’re always broke, I’ll never get out of debt, I’m just worn out, she’ll be in prison by the time she’s 20”. All of those conversations come from how we interpret what our senses are telling us. Spoken out in faith, they will produce after their own kind. Do not speak death to the situation. Be a voice for God, not an echo of the enemy.
We are a product of our words. This is not mind over matter thinking. This relates to words being seeds we plant that produce after their own kind in our lives. We have been made in the image of God. The God Who spoke the world into being by the Word of His Power. We have been designed with that same attribute. Train your mouth to only agree with God’s Word.
The spiritual man hears what his Lord says, speaks His Word and sees a God crop. Our Father hastens His word to perform it. Get your information about the situation from the Word and the Holy Spirit. Don’t be bothered about what your five senses tell you about it. Speak life to the situation. You’ve got to believe something- life or death. Choose life. Build your faith while you speak the language of heaven. Speak life to the dead things. Let the weak say, “I am strong!” Say, “By His stripes I am healed. I have favor with God and man. My God provides all of my needs”. The next time you light up a smoke, say, “it’s good to be free”. Water those seeds with your words and then let God be God. Quit struggling to fix it yourself. We’re just clay pots.
