The Bulls of Bashan. Bashan was where the giants lived. Those offspring of spiritual darkness mingled with the daughters of men. We are living in the time of great spiritual darkness. The bulls of Bashan are demonic beings who go after those who carry the fire and those that dare to confront them.
They get ugly around the truth. The light. They will, however, retreat to their darkness when confronted with our weapons wielded in faith- the Blood of Jesus, the Name of Jesus and the Word of God.
Authority and dominion are God substance, delegated to His beloved Bride. Natural man cannot comprehend this and they will try to produce this authority and dominion in their natural realm. Witchcraft is hard mental or spiritual control over another. Control, manipulation and domination are the works of the flesh. Satan can only counterfeit God’s substance. He cannot reproduce it.
In that counterfeit world, faith is turned into mental assent or self help. Life in the Spirit is substituted with the occult or a religion void of power. True freedom is exchanged for ritual. Truth is learned from talking points and parroted on social media. Wisdom is unrecognized by the masses.
Sometimes when interceding for a situation, there is backlash. Defensive attacks from the raging enemy. It can come in the form of sickness, financial or job attacks. You may see breakdowns happen, mental confusion or relationship attacks. This is to get you off track and onto another skirmish. Don’t fall for it. I know they will, and must, pass as you hold steady. The Lord is faithful to His promises- He will never leave you or forsake you. Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. You have the victory. Do not get into fear, doubt or unbelief.
This still occasionally happens to me and I sometimes don’t recognize it until the battle is over. I often bind backlash at the onset of intercession. The enemy does not want you disturbing his plans and will contend with you for the territory and victory you are claiming. You are in a war. You have weapons. You are not to be moved by what you see, feel or hear. Do not back down. Intercession is not something you play with. Always be Spirit led in intercession. Stay in your lane. Know your authority. Cover yourself with the Blood of Jesus. Do not take credit for the outcome. Never. All of the glory belongs to Him. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Stand on His promises and you will overcome those bulls of Bashan.

Many bulls have surrounded Me;
Strong bulls of Bashan have encircled Me.
13 They gape at Me with their mouths,
Like a raging and roaring lion.
“For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of the giants. Indeed his bedstead was an iron bedstead. (Is it not in Rabbah of the people of Ammon?) Nine cubits is its length and four cubits its width, according to the standard cubit.
Then they were all amazed and spoke among themselves, saying, “What a word this is! For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.”
Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
Proverbs 26:24-26
He who hates, disguises it with his lips,
And lays up deceit within himself;
25 When he speaks kindly, do not believe him,
For there are seven abominations in his heart;
26 Though his hatred is covered by deceit,
His wickedness will be revealed before the assembly.

The Message
But there were also lying prophets among the people then, just as there will be lying religious teachers among you. They’ll smuggle in destructive divisions, pitting you against each other—biting the hand of the One who gave them a chance to have their lives back! They’ve put themselves on a fast downhill slide to destruction, but not before they recruit a crowd of mixed-up followers who can’t tell right from wrong.
2-3 They give the way of truth a bad name. They’re only out for themselves. They’ll say anything, anything, that sounds good to exploit you. They won’t, of course, get by with it. They’ll come to a bad end, for God has never just stood by and let that kind of thing go on.
Ephesians 4:14

Romans 16:18
For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple.
Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
