Don’t make a pact (or covenant) with the devil by agreeing with him. Anything that comes to steal, kill or destroy is not of God. Don’t identify with the devil, saying, “I am sick”, or “I am broke”, or “That’s just who I am”. Contend with these attackers, these invaders of your land (Amorites, Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites), through the Holy Spirit.
Try saying, “I’m a healthy person fighting sickness”, “I’m a blessed person fighting poverty”, “I’m a strong person fighting weakness” or, “I’m a righteous person fighting sin”. Better yet, let the weak say, “I am strong”, let the poor say “I am rich”!
Identify with Jesus and attack the enemy; don’t identify with the attack or attacker. Don’t take on the thing, or name, that the enemy brings (sin, sickness, poverty) as your identity, saying “I have heart disease”, or “I cannot pay my bills” or “My husband will never be promoted”. Those words are you making an agreement, or covenant, with the enemy. Remember, it is written that: "If two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven". Your words create life or death.
You are hid with Christ in God. Jesus is not up in heaven- sick. I am not the sick trying to get well. I am a healed woman fighting off an attack from the enemy. I was healed by His stripes 2000 years ago. His provision is there for everything we need. We don’t wait around for a feeling or a sign. If it’s mine, I’m taking it. If I lose it, lost it- I recover it now. All of it. My friend Suzie’s garden hose was taken and she got mad over that theft. She went in to spiritual battle over that hose and did not back down. The hose was returned a few weeks later.
Ex 34:15 …lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land… Let the words you speak agree with heaven, not the world’s system.
Come out from among them and be seperate!

10-12 And God said, “As of right now, I’m making a covenant with you: In full sight of your people I will work wonders that have never been created in all the Earth, in any nation. Then all the people with whom you’re living will see how tremendous God’s work is, the work I’ll do for you. Take careful note of all I command you today. I’m clearing your way by driving out Amorites, Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites. Stay vigilant. Don’t let down your guard lest you make covenant with the people who live in the land that you are entering and they trip you up.
